Location release -
Unfortunately, as we were slightly unclear on the college boundaries, we did film part of our piece on public property just outside of the college grounds. However, we did not take our 'weapon' off of the college grounds so as not to cause alarm.

4 Main categories - MARS
Added to it are Explorer, Resigned and the Struggler (ERS)
I would say that our piece links to more than one of these groups.
For example, it fits into the group of "The Struggler", as the genre of thriller creates an extreme situation in which you can seek escape. Our piece is also visually impacting as we used colour correction in editing to make it appear gritty and urban.
It also fits into the group of the Explorer as this group seeks discoveries, and our piece creates a surreal situation in which you can discover something you wouldn't likely see in the real world.

We have acknowledged the fact that using our plastic machete for this piece may cause members of the public distress. Thereby, we did not take the machete off campus and informed the relevant people of our use of this 'weapon'. We also informed any members in the close proximity to us that this was for filming purposes only. I emailed reception:

We informed the site manager when having the location release and contract signed.
